Since new weeks entering the system are assigned to any corresponding exchange requests before instant confirmations, placing an exchange request gives you the best opportunity for being confirmed to the destination and time period you want. Here are a few pro tips to help you get started.
Choice Combinations
Whether you own a week and are using Deposit First or Request First, or if you’re a member at a points-based resort using Request First, when you place your exchange request, be sure to select a minimum of:
3 Resorts and 1 time period, 2 resorts and 2 time periods, 1 resort and 3 time periods
Maximize Your Options
Remember, those are just the minimum suggested combinations. The more options you include in your request, the more your exchange opportunities increase — and your potential selections are limited only by your travel imagination.
When one of your selections becomes available, you will be confirmed immediately.
Accommodations That Accommodate
Another tip is to request the smallest-size unit that will accommodate the number of people in your traveling party.
